Title: Wonderful Stay at Hotel Il Nido
The only aspect I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is for the staff to be more attentive and understanding of the needs of older guests. Their eagerness to assist was appreciated, but at times, some of the children working there seemed rushed or preoccupied, which affected the level of personalized attention.

The room at Hotel Il Nido was absolutely amazing! It was so spacious and bright, with large windows that offered a stunning view of the Golfo Dei Poeti. I felt so relaxed and at ease in this cozy room. The beds were comfy, and everything was so clean and tidy. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the bunk beds in the quadruple room. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The Il Nido is a charming boutique hotel that exceeded my expectations. The decor throughout the hotel is elegant and tasteful, with touches of traditional Italian design. The common areas are well-maintained and accessible for senior guests, with comfortable seating and lovely views to relax and enjoy. The staff at the hotel were delightful, helpful, and treated me with respect and kindness, making me feel comfortable and cared for.
If I had to ask for one thing to enhance the vacation experience for senior guests, it would be more assistance available from the young staff members. Though they were friendly and eager to help, I would have appreciated a bit more attentiveness and proactive service from the younger employees.

Staff was helpful and was able to speak English in a way to provide excellent service
Internet was not free and only available in the lobby and was only available from 8 am to 10 pm. Cleanliness of rooms was inconsistent.

Fantastic setting on cliff above Mediterranean.Steep steps led down to sun bathing area, cafe and small beach. Room had great balcony with beautiful view across Bay of Poets.
Small bathroom with access to shower difficult. Poor breakfast for the price paid. Not all staff helpful. Hotel would be unmanageable for anyone with mobility issues as it was built down a cliff with very steep steps linking different areas.

The hotel, located in a small local village away from the big tourist attractions, offers a truly authentic experience. The value for money is exceptional, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers. The basic amenities provided in the rooms, such as the panoramic view over the sea and balconies facing the sea, ensure that guests can enjoy the breathtaking scenery throughout their stay. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service to make guests feel welcome. Additionally, the breakfast, served with a beautiful view from the breakfast location, is a delightful way to start the day.
All aspects of our stay were satisfactory, ensuring a pleasant experience.

Stayed at the hotel while visiting the Cinque Terre region, and enjoyed the stay with a wonderful breakfast and private beach so much that we stayed an extra night. The room in the main building had a gorgeous view of the sea with it's own private balcony.
The secondary building holds the majority of the rooms but is across the street from Hotel Il Nido, lacking some of the splendor and perks of the main facility.

Just perfect stay for 2 nights. Clean hotel with beautiful and amazing location in Tellaro adjacent to La Galetta restaurant and a beautiful bay and a touristic area like Tellaro where finding a parking space is otherwise a great challenge. The very helpful staff working throughout the venue. Well-appointed and beautifully decorated rooms with an astonishing view as well as the balcony, complimentary breakfast.

The location of the hotel was excellent as it was down into the villages making it an easy walk to Tellaro and near the sea. For dinner, La Galetta restaurant was close by and offered delicious dishes. The room was well-equipped with a minibar and TV, and the breakfast had a well-stocked buffet. The lifeguard at the private beach was attentive and the kayaks were a plus.
There was no elevator in the hotel making it hard to carry luggage up and down the stairs.
